We visited Slovenian Istria,
We were very pleasantly surprised by the city of Piran. That’s where we’ll start this story right with him. We have ranked the city of Piran among the most beautiful destinations. The city of Piran is called charming, a jewel of the Slovenian coast and a city with true Istrian charm. If you come with a car, you can park your car in a public garage located near the walls of Piran. The first location we visited were the Piran walls. Entrance to the walls costs only two euros. And the view from the top is perfect. The walls had three city gates, the first gate was the gate of St. Nicholas with a smaller door that is unfortunately no longer preserved, and the second and third doors located in the lower part of the city are still preserved today. During Venetian rule, the state took care of the maintenance of the city wall and city gates. The walls were built from the 7th to the beginning of the 16th century and represent the most famous and in our opinion the most beautiful location in the city. Everything is very well preserved, and the view above is definitely one of the reasons why you must visit the walls.

The beautiful main square of Tartini, named after an Italian composer, looks like the same one in an Italian town. Once a port, and at the end of the nineteenth century embankment and abducted by the sea, today it is the central gathering place in Piran. Narrow streets like any Mediterranean town meander, seemingly without a plan and order, under the sun and in summer provide a pleasant shade. On the hill above the town is the church of St. George, from where it offers a view of Italy and Croatia. The most beautiful view is from the bell tower. Fifteenth-century walls, built to defend against the Turks, are a good place to walk.

Posjetili smo slovensku Istru,
Iznimno nas je ugodno iznenadio grad Piran. Tu ćemo započeti ovu priču upravo s njim. Grad Piran svrstali smo među najljepše destinacije. Grad Piran nazivaju šarmantnim, draguljem slovenske obale i gradom s istinskim istarskim šarmom. Ako dolazite s automobilom, možete parkirati u javnoj garaži smještenoj u blizini piranskih zidina. Prvo mjesto koje smo posjetili bile su Piranske zidine. Ulaz u zidine košta samo dva eura. Pogled s vrha je savršen. Zidine su imale tri gradska vrata, prva vrata bila su vrata Svetog Nikole s manjim vratima koja nažalost više nisu sačuvana, a druga i treća vrata smještena u donjem dijelu grada i danas su sačuvana. Za vrijeme mletačke vladavine država se brinula o održavanju gradskog zida i gradskih vrata. Zidine su građene od 7. do početka 16. stoljeća i predstavljaju najpoznatije i po našem mišljenju najljepše mjesto u gradu. Sve je vrlo dobro očuvano, pogled iznad definitivno je jedan od razloga zašto morate posjetiti zidove.
Portorož na ulazu ima prekrasnu stablu sličnih onima u Nacionalnom parku Brijuni u Hrvatskoj.
Ljekoviti zrak, bogat mineralima i korisnim prirodnim tvarima, topla voda i čiste plaže vrlo blagotvorno djeluju na ljudsko tijelo.
Portorož je jedino središte tajlandske medicine na Mediteranu, kao i centar za talasoterapiju.
